Mike graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors in Business Administration in 2001. Mike then attended law school at the Appalachian School of Law in Virginia. He began his legal career working for the late, great Alan M. Alexander, Jr., who gave Mike his first job when he relocated to Oconee County. Under Mr. Alexander, Mike handled a variety of legal matters: Personal Injury, Divorces, Wills/Probate, DUIs, Domestic Violence, and other Criminal Defense.

Mike honed his skills during his years learning under Mr. Alexander, handling dozens of cases with success. After Mr. Alexander passed away, Mike opened his own law practice, continuing Alan's legacy of success.

Mike takes great pleasure in helping good folks in need. He is a tireless advocate for children, focusing a substantial portion of his practice representing children and their best interests.

In addition to practicing law, Mike teaches it. Mike teaches legal courses for the University of North Georgia, Savannah Technical College, Athens Technical College and a few other small schools from time to time.

In addition to running his own law firm, Mike assists the Law Offices of Woodrow Wilson Ware, LLC as Of Counsel in important cases, particularly those involving personal injury and trusts and estates.

Mike lives in Oconee County with his wife, daughter, son, and two dogs. He is a Member of Briarwood Baptist Church.
